So i think this largely depends in what translation of SBS you read from volume 97. Eten's imo is just fine:
"D: Odacchi! Is it true that One Piece will end in 5 years? Even if that's the case, a public statement like that is really vexing for the fans! Many friends of mine who are fans burst...
I literally agree with you on the first point. This is the final saga, i know this. It does not mean villains like Kizaru or Akainu or Blackbeard cannot go down before the end of it.
And why do we keep parroting the narrative that his health is declining when since 2015, hes been taking regular...
Bro...what is your point?
Go back to my first comment. Final arc can be 400 chapters long and 10 years. Egghead leading to the end does not change the fact that there is much to do even after it ends.

Yeah im done with this conversation lol. All Vegapunk wanted was to be taken away...
Again, how does that logic work if we are heading towards Lodestar/Laugh Tale now and have never gone backwards in this series yet?

My guy, you are not understanding a basic concept. Is Akainu losing in Egghead? Is Blackbeard? No, they are not the villains of the arc.
Kaido didnt...
Not my point. They have to fight over the 4th RP, which leads to Laugh Tale. Whether or not anyone else makes it to LT is irrelevant. If Luffy becomes PK, that means BB doesnt. This is entirely separate from the WG side of things in the complete opposing direction of the story.

Not...
Meh, geography disagrees with this. We are still heading away from Mariejois to LT. Wr know that Luffy needs to come back to destroy FI (likely with good intentions).
Final Saga can be 10+ years and 400+ chapers long with smaller arcs separating Blackbeard and the Marines/WG. Its already...
Literally says, on page, that a great war is coming once someone inherits Roger's will.
Roger's will is this:
You can put 2 and 2 together. Said person cannot fight the WG until they know everything and have One Piece.
Issue with this is the actual story goes out of its way to say that Finding One Piece will lead to the final war.
Whitebeard says it as he dies, and so does Roger in Oden's flashback.
