    True; the second Katakuri was introduced right before the ceremony, I knew there was no way they’d be leaving before he was defeated. Love that fight, just wish it had occurred in a different part of the arc that didn’t make it a flimsy justification for how long we spent there.

    @MarineHQ62 You brought up an interesting point - if the Straw Half Pirates had escaped (WITH JINBE) after the wedding cake massacre, I might not feel so negative towards the entire arc. That would have been a perfect place for them to leave with what they came for...I’ll never understand why...

    Whole Cake Island was FOR SURE the worst arc post time skip, just an absolute and unnecessary mess from top to taint. If not for Foxy and the Davy Back Fight, it would be the shittiest part of the entire series with a bullet...at least there was some point to it, unlike the latter.
