Orochi is not a good villain because I just want him gone. Not defeated, not battled, gone from existence. Boring and uninteresting. He doesn't even deserve something as hate, he just has zero personality.

I've always seen it as trying to do something instead of someone who died and can't anymore, and keep your word. When someone dies and you promise them something, it lies heavier on you than it would if the person was still alive.
