If Onimaru is right then Zoro would cap out at a single black blade and not surpass Ryuma or Mihawk (who both already have one). Zoro's gonna go beyond the two of them by having multiple. And since Zoro will do it in such a short amount of time, it'll make him even more special.

Why use Wado Ichimonji as a measuring stick instead of the sword that both men have in common? Hitetsu explicitly states "Depending on YOU it can turn black", so there's none of Oden's residual Haki in the sword or anything.
