It's been repeated so many times that I think Oda just wants to show that Luffy is special and that they won't betray him.

But in the end they will fight side by side and respect each other. I can't see them becoming enemies.

But if Oda doesn't do him justice, doesn't it mean that he doesn't see him as strong and relevant as what people think he is? The way I see it is Oda set up luffy's final enemies pre ts and that is the WG, BB and Akainu and post ts he turns his supernovas rivals into allies to help him along...

I don't believe that myself. Truth is Oda is simply keeping his best techniques for his fight whoever he is fighting. But I don't expect great things from Kidd personally.

Maybe Kidd is just bad at using his Df :kayneshrug:
