Honestly, Kaido and Big Mom both suffer a bit from their roles in the story and the good characters we've had beforehand. I find the concepts around Big Mom to be entertaining, but in the end there's not much more beyond being there for Luffy to beat up to draw on for Kaido.

I agree with pretty much all that Admiral Lee said. One thing I wanted to add though is that Kaido's character also suffers from having to share space with Orochi who despite his cowardice has the cunning and personal investment to make for a more interesting villain. It doesn't help to have...
