Ultimately the zoro legion is nobody's friend Zoro fans want to wank EoS zoro above Luffy, Prime Whitebeard, Roger, and Akainu. So pushing Fujitora as a final or close fight doesn't work. Because these guys think EoS Zoro>Akainu.

And even if Zoro fights Fujitora. Mihawk is obviously going to be stronger. Mihawk is more important to Zoro narratively. So really trying to set up Zoro vs Fujitora destroys the admiral agenda.

Akainu needed 2 heart attacks and thousands of marines as backup too.

No they get the same rank opponent. Just slightly weaker. Daz and Bon Clay were both officers. Kaku and Lucci had nearly identical doukiris. King and Queen were both disasters. Not a full tier down.

Why are people arguing Zoro fans don't want to be lumped in with Sanji? Most think Zoro will fight Nasujuro close to EoS along with Sanji fighting Jupeter. People can just clearly see Fujitora's character. He isn't fighting Zoro.
