I agree. It's the perfect spot for Oda to break away into a flashback and leave a ton of tension for a few chapters. Perhaps we'll learn just what makes Kaido's skin so impenetrable.

I'm wondering what the game plan is now that the Alliance has been exposed. They were supposed to wait and kill Kaido when he was drunk, but that's completely out the window. Did they have a contingency plan, or are they pretty much just winging it at this point?

I don't know if it's a drawing inconsistency on Oda's part, but when Kaido decapitated Orochi, he cut his head in half. But in this chapter the part of the head we see doesn't line up with where it was cut in half last chapter.

The saddest part was Kinemon and Denjiro stepping around the body without so much as saying a word, despite knowing it bothered them. I wouldn't say it's a tear jerker, but sad nonetheless.

We should definitely see more of them, as it seems they complete the full deck of cards. You'd have the numbers which would be 2 through 10, and then Jack, Queen, and King.

There is also 5-6 Numbers who are probably just as strong, if not stronger than the Tobi Roppo.
