I see no reason to believe that Queen has not been defeated TBH.
I'll say that I'm more 70:30 in favour of Queen's defeat.
Sanji still loses badly to King. His fire isn't going to help against King and King is more durable than Kaido.
It's not a cliffhanger. This is exactly like the end of Jimbe vs Who's Who.
It feels like you're just dissatisfied with the battle, but it was concluded similarly to Sanji vs Jabra.
Meh, I think it was obvious that Jimbe won. People were just in denial.
And what would the purpose of that be? Why stretch the fight even further? Narratively, what purpose does that serve?
Normally, if Queen didn't fall here, we'd expect him to fall in the next chapter named after Sanji's...
So has Queen been defeated for good?
Compared to the Vs Jabra fight, didn't Jabra go down after a Diable Jambe combo like this?
I think Sanji unlocking a new and even stronger version of Diable Jambe (Ifrit Jambe) in addition to his previous Germa power up is a fine place to end the fight.
I...
No, it was to his belly.
Yeah, it's a very terrible feat for Oden.
Luffy took quite a few of those moves.
Their DC was equivalent to destroying a few pillars or drilling a hole in the floor.
Like King's AP is impressive because:
He greatly overpowered Zoro's guard and even his named...
Eh, lasers are pretty powerful:
Ulti was downed by one.
It was the decisive hit against (an albeit very weakened) Sasaki.
No one has tanked Queen's lasers as far as I'm aware. Even Marco was dodging it.
Zoro hyped King's Tempura Udon by comparing it to a laser and questioned how one could...
He was knocked out by a Rag Naraku to his belly.
The one to Law's body had Haoshoku coating, the one to Luffy's head did not.
But even without considering the headshot, Luffy was knocked out by Rag Naraku, while Law tanked a Thunder Bagua.
Does Katakuri have any equivalent to O-lin...
That's a very shitty feat from Oden. It's usually written off as plot or an inconsistent showing.
However, Luffy nearly got oneshot again on the Rooftop. He was also virtually oneshot by taking a Rag Naraku to his belly, so it's not inconsistent.
Kaido simply can oneshot Pre Haoshoku Luffy...
Boundman was oneshot by a no Haoshoku Thunder Bagua from Base Kaido.
Law tanked a Haoshoku Thunder Bagua from Hybrid Kaido.
And Katakuri landed several dozen blows on Luffy.
His AP showings are frankly piss poor, and there's little reason to believe otherwise.
