Bruh what?
Ofcourse he is using Haki here and so is King. Zoro coated his swords with haki multiple chapters ago and King is fighting that. No reason for both of them to stop using Haki mid fight. Oda is just inconsistent with haki hardening thats all. If that's the case Sanji has never used...
Bro in the very panel of King's slashes that I posted we see atleast a dozen fodders get mangled and cut up really bad by King's slashes. We see one slash from King go through a fodder and then through the building. We weren't shown any named character losing their limbs because Oda didn't want...
Nope. There is no "y'all" here.
Kaido's slashes were just thrown to the side like it was nothing by Zoro like it was nothing.
King's slashes were stronger. Zoro was blocking them while King hit him with his wing again.
Doesn't take anything away from Kaido since that's a part of his bonus...
You are right. There is no reason for a "Gaah!" with the same text style of Zoro grunting in the previous panel to be there if King didn't push him back with his wing.
Lol yeah. Plus its obvious that he doesn't intend to focus on the strawhats, outside of Luffy and Zoro, when it comes to plot in this arc. The scabbards got more prominence this arc.
TBH Kaido wasn't shown that much in Act 1 & Act 2 and for a good chunck of Act 3 - till like chapter 985/986. Most of his panel time is from when the raid started.
This just makes me fear what's gonna happen to future villains that have been built up for soo long like Akainu and Blackbeard lol. Eventually Oda's going to make them look like jobbers just for the sake of some Luffy gags and that's gonna be real hard to watch.
Him using a combination of Physical strength and Repel on a Island wide scale, while controlling multiple metal particles to hold Island up would be epic as all hell.
I mean Blackbeard could instantly do Whitebeard's techniques once he got his devil fruit and Sabo could use Ace's Hiken instantly as well.
It feels really contrived and convenient but this is an hax ability in the first place right?
Okiku has more panels than Sanji. Komachiyo, Tama's pet, has just 10 panels less than Brook, a strawhat. That alone tells a lot as to what Oda's doing with this arc.
Ultra Tiger Hunt is a shockwave.
And King used his left wing to hit Zoro so technically his left sword should be the one near King's face. If you're gonna lie and downplay Zoro atleast think the logic through.
