TBH Kaido wasn't shown that much in Act 1 & Act 2 and for a good chunck of Act 3 - till like chapter 985/986. Most of his panel time is from when the raid started.

Okiku has more panels than Sanji. Komachiyo, Tama's pet, has just 10 panels less than Brook, a strawhat. That alone tells a lot as to what Oda's doing with this arc.

:finally: It need not necessarily be an indicator of Adv CoC but it will be insane if King has it and Zoro beats such an opponent this arc.
