Not sure if he thought he could take them on by himself but I guess it's at least in the realm of plausible. He is durable and powerful. Jinbe is likely less durable and more versatile and he took on 1 of them very handily though 6 of them would likely be too much I guess.

Jinbe's power level is not that complex to discern. Pretty much what it takes to mid diff a Tobi Roppo that is presumably amongst the strongest ones. And barely mid diff. YC2-YC3 ballpark on paper for now. Let's see if this is how it remains or if WsW gets back on track or Jinbe shows new...
