I mean, what was the point of showing Historia talking about having a child while Zeke talks about Mikasa love for Eren. Why bother making the pregnancy plotline a thing if it didn't matter, or have some important connection to Eren.

Doubt it, pressure from the series popularity (and his publisher) probably stopped him from going down the route he preferred. I feel like a lot of popular mangas have this issue.

Reiner is a mass murderer and faced zero repercussions. The fact Jean is even socializing with him seems weird to me.

So the only way to create world peace, end racism, and break the chains of century long hatred was for Eren to commit mass genocide. No repercussions whatsoever afterwards? Committing genocide is justifiable? Leaks could be off or not tell the full story but I doubt it, sounds like such a lazy...
