  1. Garp the Fist

General & Others Zoro and Sanji, Wings of Pirate King

Is it wings in the military sense as opposed to a metaphor about big feathery flying things? I see another translation of the word is “both flanks” https://jitenon.com/word/386
  2. Garp the Fist

General & Others Zoro and Sanji, Wings of Pirate King

Basically it’s kind of like if Black Maria said “Queen is a man worthy of being Kaido’s Calamity!” Which doesn’t mean that King and Jack aren’t also Calamities. It‘s a word that applies to two people, but Robin is only talking about Sanji. Saying “one of the wings” might help get the point...
  3. Garp the Fist

General & Others Zoro and Sanji, Wings of Pirate King

  5. Garp the Fist

General & Others Zoro and Sanji, Wings of Pirate King

I wonder if the phrase in Japanese is quite as dramatic and poetic as it sounds in English, or if it’s more just like a common phrase to describe something. The translation we got of the SBS makes it seem quite ordinary language that still gets the message across.
