If Oda wanted me to care about Kidd and Law as Luffy’s rivals, then he should have introduced them a lot sooner. I like their characters, but Oda did not do an effective job writing them as rivals for Luffy.
Sanji fanboys can be just as toxic as Zoro fanboys when it comes to power scaling. At least Zoro fanboys tend to be outright honest when it comes to their love for Zoro and powerscaling his fights and feats. Also Zoro is probably the perfect character to discuss powerscaling. Meanwhile some...
As more characters with CoC were introduced did Oda need to figure out a way to make Luffy stand out even more? Let's upgrade CoC! Now instead of knocking people out he can do other vague things.

This isn't an out of character moment for Sanji, but I love how Sanji goes from saying who cares if...
Reread chapter 76. Sanji started the rivalry. I go into further detail in my previous post. The interaction between Sanji and Zoro makes me wonder where Oda's editor was because damn Sanji was a jerk in that scene. I expect Zoro to have no social skills but not Sanji.
Criticism doesn't equal...
