I know I sound negative, but I don’t think Oda cares enough about Zoro to give him more of a backstory. His purpose is to just be the combatant of the crew. Even his fights are never going to get the time and effort that Oda puts into Luffy’s fights.
I want to know why Wano was called the Land of Gold. At the rate Oda is going just to end Wano, I am guessing he will reveal the answer in 2 or 3 panels.

I wanted more as well. I do wonder if there’s any ramifications from his encounter that Oda isn’t showing us. It’s most likely over and done with though.
Zunisha left without revealing anything more about Joy Boy. That’s just disappointing. I also wonder why it’s important to open Wano’s borders. The WG is definitely targeting Wano but they aren’t getting anywhere since it’s impregnable.
