Alabama native here, it’s an easy joke on toothless rednecks that’s only partially true in the lower part of the state. The whole place is used as shorthand for gross ignorance, which I resent but cannot completely disprove.

Do you mean Luffy and Law? Because yes, they did, I also remember reading Dressrosa. I was saying that Katakuri, as a rival with deep respect for the guy who beat him, sounds more like Luffy’s parallel to Whitebeard than Law would be.
Is the latter any worse to read than the former?? At least the shipping stuff is glancingly interesting, unlike the same assholes repeating the same tired tirades all damn day.
