Maybe it's just me, but I'm not bothered by their focus. Nor do I think it's at the detriment of the Strawhats. I think Oda could do with giving them better things to do, is all. That's the real problem.

We should've gotten Oden's flashback way back in Act 1 when Kin'emon first recounted it. By blanking out the story and only allowing us to see the Strawhat's reactions to the tale, while also making big mentions around the things that occurred in the flashback, Oda set our expectations too...

This conforms to a larger point I've thought about. I believe every major player since Post Timeskip began will converge in Wano. That includes the Sun Pirates from Fishman Island, G-5 from Punk Hazard, Grandfleet from Dressrosa, the minks from Zou, and Germa from WCI. Each of these arcs neatly...

I want Zoro to keep Sandai Kitetsu for the remainder of the series. I see no point in moving up the Kitetsu lines, as we're nearing the end of the series, according to Oda. And if the idea is that Zoro has to upgrade to the Nidai Kitetsu, then logically he should move up to the Shodai Kitetsu...
