There's no proof of him dodging or Zoro missing the attack. Both are totally possible. It's just one's own interpretation of the scene. Though dodging might get the benefit of doubt due to BM warning Kaido about Enma.

I'm gonna wait for the official release on the dodge or not thing. If he still does say 'I missed' then he probably did miss. Guess it's hard to control Enma.
