Yeah I deffo understand what you are saying, but shonen progression works that way. Each new villain is stronger or significantly stronger than the previous one. Which isn't always good of course, especially when the authors cannot make their defeat believable.
Oh yeah I agree that his ending needs to be believable, and if it's not really and it follows those typical stories, it will be sad and knock him down a peg unfortunately.
Bump. We got more of Lucius recently. It's absolutely savage that he resurrected Acier to fight her children and Morgen to fight Nacht and Yami ostensibly. And him wreaking William like that. GOAT stuff :endthis:

I think Lucius/Julius is definitely Tabata's magnum opus. His characterization and the juxtaposition between the two souls and two beloved characters is perfect. Black Clover is at its peak...
