Are people actually reading this arc ? Zoro wants to avenge Yasu by taking out Orochi, right, and we know who Orochi's Nr.1 bodyguard is, Kaidou. Zoro going after Orochi will automatically lead into conflict with Kaidou. Kyoshiro is not even in Onigashima, lol

That isn't a legitimate justification. He could've skipped the fight and given us a line that despite Oden's great strength and endurance, he just fell short to a superior opponent. That's it.

I'm not hating on Oda, but just imagine you as a writer come up with a character that gets that "1v1 King" hype, and the most important 1v1 he had was a win by using a distraction/hostage to his advantage...

Why is Oda so obsessed with creating so much controversy in fights? 1v1 fights on equal terms where one character wins because he's simply stronger seems to be forbidden to use as a concept for a fight. That blackmail plot was totally unnecessary, it just dehyped the current main antagonist...

Is here anyone seriously believing that THIS Kaidou in the chapter is beating Primebeard or Roger, seriously i know even the hardest Kaidou fan won't think that.

Sometimes your just being unfair. You don't consider Kid losing an arm against the RHP as an L, but do when Fujitora comes out of his fight against the Vet commanders with a single bandage. Two separate but very similar instances, both of which were off-screened. :seriously:

Big mom and Oden are/were the two character's that everytime when they were on screen every single bit of consistency in Oda's writing went to shit. This flashback is not bad, but Primebeard and Roger were undoubtedly carrying its hype.
