No where does it say he was using FS , when ever he use it Oda give us a idea. Which is another reason why FS will be useless going forward in any fight that matter to tell the truth .

Luffy never dance around Kaido TB . In fact FS was such non factor in that fight since Kaido had no problem beating up luffy no matter the gear he using or haki. Really FS going to be good vs fodder and mostly useless other wise .

For luffy his attack always depend on his DF and we talking pre haki with gear 2 and 3 . Even with something like gear 4 when he beat don it was with haki and DF . Haki is a factor but luffy DF will also be a huge factor in his speed , AP , AoE , defence etc etc . With is why he get Gear 5 ...

It cool to see that luffy now doing what kat and don was doing even if it without haki . Which is using the environment to attack , did not dothat vs kaido .

No way in hell would luffy be able to match and beat Kaido last attack without gear 5. ( any other attack before gear 5 to small ) Even using haki it was the the physical size of the attack when it hit Kaido that knock him to the core of the island .

Why would Kaido wind attack do anything vs King you need ACoC to get past his defence . My whole point with king is he has higher base defence but that don't mean he more durable . Cause if we using Kaido that uses ACoC with all his physical attack do you think King can take as much hits as luffy .

Kizaru fuck up luffy during the war and also stop him from getting to his brother . Along with what he did to the SH on SB , there no way you can Zoro has more beef then him than luffy . Not to mention luffy would take a admiral more serious than sento.

This logic make no sense. So luffy has no beef with Kizaru even though he try to kill his crew ( you don't fuck with luffy crew ) and attack and hurt him but Zoro does.

It don't really make sense to judge things that way . There most likely no YC1 ( maybe marco )that can take the damage luffy can take in gear 5 . That not counting how easy it is to scale his attacks and body in gear 5 even without ACoC or ACoA .

There no way lucci has more talent , luffy is in the top tier of the pirate word in 2 plus years at 19 . The same for Zoro .

If you have to be there in person to order them VP most likely feel safe . I don't think we have ever seen the Gorosei leave that room LMAO .

I won't say it was tone down , we just get less panels of luffy doing stuff compare to his kaido fight . The longer the fight goes on the more crazy stuff luffy \Oda will do that is a given .
