You said "and he's using ryou" which implies you were talking separately from the haki on his arm.
Anyway, it's not Ryou. Kata is not using flow haki at all here, which is Ryou, because it's what is primarily used in swordsmanship.
This is just a stronger version of stage 1 CoA
So one thing I gotta bring up, and I'm not sure how much it matters, but Oda has only called the "Vs" matchups for certain pairings. It's interesting:
Killer vs Hawkins:
Kid/Law vs Big Mom:
With this you can very clearly see that Oda has painted a "Vs" matchup with these 2 fights. However...
I think what will happen is we'll get them like Luffy vs Katakuri.
A lot of plot movement on the roof, maybe a few victories here and there against the other enemies, but every so often Oda will focus on Sanji or Zoro fighting Queen/King respectively for justified number of chapters.
This way...
Oh it's gonna be a good fight for sure.
Tbh I'm excited for both. King and Queen are legitimately the first two "moderately" difficult 1v1 fights they've had since Enies Lobby. This is a huge moment tbh. Queen's moveset just looks fun as fuck. I really wish the F6 got the same treatment but at...
I'm praying Jack can manipulate his zoan and make a true hybrid instead of this centuar. It's odd to me that Oda didn't really focus on the hybrid (didn't give it a true "don" moment) just him running, but not in way where we can see the design well enough
Imagine Page 1 is secretly the Yammy of the Beast Pirates? Simultaneously the weakest F6, but also the Ace of the crew:smart:
Why oda would give him the best hybrid yet no named moves is beyond me
Next color spread is definitely going to be the 10 strawhats at least. The one following will be Shanks/Blackbeard and whoever else hit the top 50 on their side. Not sure what's missing. Anyone got a list?
