I took this comment more as "Vegapunk is better off dead than in the hands of pirates" because Vegapunk knows Marines weaknesses (he's invented many of their advances).
I'm annoyed that Oda hasn't actually addressed if Lucci is the CP0 leader or not. It seemed like the other dude was and then he became irrelevant (unless he comes back).
The WG structure/pecking order is still weird.
Exactly this. Crocodile was scaled with other Shichibukai and it clearly didn't work by the time he got to Moria. Then Doflamingo started clashing with Admirals lol. Then there's just Mihawk on a completely different level.
Now it's accepted they are all different ranges of power, but even...
It is an it isn't. In reality it's more like the One Piece saga which will require Luffy to fight 1/2 more Yonko, but that's also leading to major showdown with the WG.
This is why this arc certainly has importance. CP0 likely gets away with the Seraphim eventually (even if Lucci loses here, I...
I meant actual Rocks not the group with every dead person. His "death" is still a mystery tbh.
Anyway, I'm joking, it's probably Blackbeard that inherited his will, either via his 3rd DF (mythical zoan?) Or something else.
Did you see the (current) scans? The dialogue does suggest Vegapunk doesn't know all the details, just that they are manifested by desire. We just don't know how or why. It probably has to do with this "universal" energy he's looking to find, and that's pretty scientific or at least stays in...
Tbf, what is being stated this chapter fundamentally is a theory Vegapunk has about its origin. It still doesn't explain how exactly they are formed.
If it's something like Zoro's demon spirit with Asura and drive to surpass others becomes a mythical zoan type DF after he dies, then it...
I mean, when we've been hearing about the Voice and Breath of all things, Inherited Will and the fact that Vegapunk has been talking about harnessing energy from the planet itself basically this arc, is it really that illogical?
Personally I think it's cool, it still doesn't actually explain...
At this point, logic will probably dictate Kaido and Big Mom coming back with Rocks and having awakening lol. So weird that Lucci shows it off (glad he does, it's awesome) but not the King of Beasts
The dialogue with Akainu makes it sound like he has faith in Kizaru to handle Luffy's crew, since he is telling CP0 to stop doing what they are doing and wait.
I guess we'll see what Kizaru does. It seems Akainu is in league with the operation to kill Vegapunk. The issue is Luffy taking him...
Pretty sure Future Sight didn't exist when that databook was made lol, unless it was Vivre cards. If Snakeman was anything to go by, you need FS to deal with extreme speed, that's the only way Katakuri could keep up with Luffy, same with Kaido for Snakeman
