Which is why people shouldn't be offended when others suggest Sanji vs. Page 1 because we know next to NOTHING about how well of a fighter Page 1 is. Jabra got rocked by Sanji at many points and the moment he went serious, he was able to do damage back.
Granted, I doubt they are truly on the...
Its just the name of the game and how Oda weaves a plot with many characters. Surprisingly, One Piece arcs are normally shorter than a wide scope of other shonen manga (compare to Bleach and a few other major ones, Naruto generally has pretty short arcs save for its last arc).
Honestly I enjoy...
Transition chapters are important. They are what let the story flow neatly instead of having abrupt changes or random instances of events.
Would people rather the rest of the minks do nothing? Would it be more impressive to show the Mink army Sulong after Neko/Inu? There are a hundred other...
Broski its just about page count. Inu and Neko's sulongs are totally worth a double spread, along with other 7 scabbards fighting Kaido. That scene will be better on its own in the coming chapters. I'm personally happy Oda seems to be focusing a little bit on the Guardians and Musketeers here...
Idk, looks like Kings doing the same thing and Drake saw through 2 of Sanji's moves so;)
We also have no idea what Page Ones upper limit nor what the outcome of the fight actually was.
You can read my last post to get my answer out of this. In short the answer is steady growth, like Luffy has gotten, not a random growth spurt with no setup
I see two scenarios.
Oda doesnt give a fuck about power scaling route:
- Zoro/Sanji vs. King/Queen
- Jinbe vs. Jack
- Yamato vs. Ulti (then Smoothie lul)
- Etc
- Law/Kid/Marco are reserved for Kaido only
Oda realizes Luffys crew needs to "grow":
- Zoro vs. Whos Who
- Jinbe vs. Sasaki
-...
When it took Luffy 12 hours to fight someone of similar caliber, we are supposed to expect Luffy's crewmate to do the same thing after barely being shown "growth" the past 10 years?
This to me looks like a clash, a moment where Sanji successfully released Momo and King simply attacked. There...
Eh, we should 100% have at least 3 chapters in a row.
Again, the reason why breaks have been so staggered this summer was because of Jump breaks in the midst of Oda's.
Now Jump doesnt have a break until the end of the year, so Oda should be putting out 3-5 chapters in a row again.
Maybe the suit has "levels" or transformations. Its clear this isn't the new design Oda was hyping up, but he probably wants to give the original design some more presence before overshadowing it.
Starting to really believe in that Sanji v. Page One matchup. Not as a disrespect, but because we never actually saw what happened and I feel like Oda just either didn't want to show how strong either character was or could be, or didn't want to have Page One lose there so early.
I already can...
Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if King was just a full blown hand to hand combatant like Luffy/Katakuri/Marco. He straight up kicks Sanji, then chokes him, then uses his zoan form to try and impale him. I really wouldn't be surprised if Marco was brought in solely for him to take on King...
I'm not a zoro or sanji stan by any means, but I do find it hilarious that Sanji bros use Page One screaming as a means to show how much Sanji was owning Page One, but entirely refute the fact that Sanji himself just screamed from King's attack this chapter. :milaugh:
Not the same kind of "white eyes" I'm talking about. Kaido got the same shit when Luffy hit him, its not the same thing. That's just how Oda draws high impact hits to the face.
I'm talking about the state Luffy leaves villains in when they are completely knocked out.
