I am not talking about Tol or Tos But a game with very solo setup with one simple abiltiy per role.

Let me put it another way For new players, mafia is about learning basics (including observation, reads, how to play their respective roles and perform actions and using information which gets available to them) which is possible in simply setup. Leave it. Do whatever you like.

I don't hate vanilla. But as I said our priority is to develop interest among new players towards mafia. They should feel mafia is fun along with learning basics. Anything beyond that shouldn't be our objective because when they will play regular games then they will surely learn all other...
