It’s all build up. The longer he stalls it the more impactful/amazing it will be. Oda loves using this writing strategy. Luffy has had a CoC clash with every New World opponent that’s also has it. (Chinjao, Doffy, Katakuri). No way in hell Oda misses out on the chance to draw a haki clash when...
The conquerers are built different. Oda made it perfectly even for a reason. Two conquerers on the ally side two conquerers on the opposing side. Can’t wait to see their 4 way CoC flex knock everyone on Onigashima out lol.
I mean it’s whatever. At the end of the day we both know if Kidd was the one all bloodied and out of breath everyone would be shitting on him, but since it’s Zoro everybody want to damage control lol. Not even a big deal though tbh breathing hard doesn’t really mean anything.
True. Maybe you’re right. But right before Kidd attacks base Kaido in 1001 he comments on already knowing how tough his skin is. I feel like maybe they fought Dragon Kaido for a bit and then he went into base and just “Thunder Baguaed” them to death.
Well I mean Doffy pretty much confirmed that Law doesn’t have it. Kaido basically confirmed Killer didn’t have it because if he did he would have said Kidd AND Killer had CoC since he fought and captured both of them. I 100% expect Zoro to unlock it in the future though.
He’s confirmed to have Conquerers haki and we know from chapter 1001 that he knows what haki is. Plus he’s survived in New World for 2 years while challenging strong pirates. He should obviously have basic haki, idk why Oda isn’t showing him use it though.
This is my last comment on this subject because it is obvious as hell that it’s Zoro saying the line. Look at the air puffs near Zoro’s mouth on that page. Then look at the dialogue in the word bubble. The bubble was put right next to Zoro because it’s obviously him talking. Oda does not always...
It’s very obvious that Zoro is saying, “How do we win against these monsters?”. While Kidd is saying, “None of our attacks are working.” The text bubble is pointing to Kidd for his line and right by Zoro for his line. There is even a “huff huff” at the end of it and we know Zoro was breathing...
