People focus on « Zoro beat Lucci » when the biggest feats are those :
-Zoro catch his falling blade while dodging effortlessly a very fast attack => which is a speed and agility feat
-Zoro’s CoO is island range.
Zoro as shown 2 top tier CoO feats this arc :
-Sleep block Kaku attack
-Island...
I do not care about other characters tho.
But you are right, it seems that nothing can happen in the story without Luffy involvement which is detrimental to the others characters.
The Strawhats seems to have become a nuisance to Oda.
But all that does not stop the Zoro fans to not be good with...
You are right.
Unfortunately a lot of Zoro fans do not care of his involvement in the story as long as he has epic feats.
Oda seems to have understand that and treats Zoro exactly like those Zoro fans wants : little to no involvement in the plot and epic feat here and there.
It is quite sad...
That is a actually an interesting point.
As I said several times the fight is totally uninteresting to me because I do not see what it add to Zoro characters or to his swordsman’s road. BUT if the point of the fight is for Zoro to learn how to definitely put down an awaken Zoan (which how...
-He did not finish S-Hawk
-He did not finish Kaku
If he did not finish Lucci why we should believe that he can finish Kizaru?
And after what he said this chapter he will be highly incompetent and stupid if he, again, is not able to finish what he started.
My issue with Lucci is not his level per se (because Oda can make a character as strong as the plot needs), my issue is that Lucci does not seems to have any abilities that can make Zoro grows as a character or as a swordsman. Which make the fight stale. Especially because we see none of it...
You guys are creating all kind of scenarios to cope when you just got to let the story unfold naturally.
I will probably never understand why some Zoro fans are always so insecure about Zoro’s strength.
Imo Oda is underusing Zoro’s storywise but he never stop hyping him (even lore than the...
I feel the same. The nika dance and the connection between Kizaru and the others (Bonney, Kuma, Vegapunk and Sentomaru) are leading me to think that he will not be an antagonist for the rest of the arc or that he will not fight to the fullest of his capacity.
You should stop trying to find excuses for Oda’s writting choice.
Zoro will not fight Kizaru not because Oda wants to keep Zoro powerlevel underwrap but because Kizaru is a nika fanboy. Therefore an ally.
What baffles me is that some poeple are never tired to have the same debate over and over again since Marineford.
No matter how many new informations we got, I still reading the same argument again and again. Always doing all kind of mental gymnastics.
At some point you realize that some people...
