One underrated part about it all is how shit Katakuri is doing vs Germa in cover page :suresure::suresure:
Ndule real glad to be banned right now, for sure.
I mean... the same chapter has Buggy's bounty presented as "Rival to Red Haired Shanks" amongst billion other things.
And Mihawk is still worth more, despite not even being the captain, based on his combat strength alone.
Of course some clowns will never agree no matter how blatant stuff gets...
It's less of what he has and more of what they believe.
They THINK that he has some sort of power that he utilized collectively to get those two under him. But they don't actively think it's combat prowess.
Yes they are when the biggest reason Buggy even became Yonko was because he got Mihawk...
He had political pull, reputation as a legendary pirate of Roger Era, overwhelming strength (even if weaker than Mihawk) as well as charisma and resources they believe he has amassed.
It's not like they're saying he was strong enough to force them to obey him or anything. Just that he's a...
Wot.
They believed they have the power to make them obey him after he showed that he has the power to make them obey him. Not before.
It's literally part of his accomplishments that he's being rewarded for.
Political pull. Charisma (as stated earlier that he's charismatic enough to have Crocodile rush over to help him), just overall combination of strength, presence, connections and resources that even garners guys like Mihawk at his beck and call.
They obviously think Buggy is very strong based...
Imagine EoS Sanji gets a bounty very close EoS Zoro all while huge justifications on far less inflation, all while the guy outright stated to be Zoro's comparable and rival in same chapter gets lower bounty than Sanji, all while establishing that Sanji can just become WSS (or something equal to...
WB isn't a swordsman. You're only a swordsman if Manga or Oda calls you one. Nothing more, nothing less.
And of course, that WB had reputation of being > Shanks, Kaido, etc.
Is it something that will help you accomplish anything if you're not fighting in certain styles? Nope. If you're fighting as a SM, it aids you there. If you're fighting as a brawler, it aids you there. I'm not calling it passive necessarily.
I think you can label haki related stuff as exception...
Damn, didn't you believe Shanks > Mihawk until now? (Not calling you a Shanks fan or saying you slandered Mihawk, but legit curious about opinion changes)
And that fodder swordsman is not WSS.
Zoro will do so while having ACoA, ACoC, and CoO.
Unless you think Mihawk will ask him to turn it off for their dual :kobeha:
CoO can also be activated or deactivated via more focus and whatnot.
Again, if Shanks shows stuff with CoC that is actively about attacking in a manner that is completely irrelevant to and doesn't aid your swordsmanship in any manner, sure.
But if we're considering CoO an aid, then fucking up...
CoO aids in swordsmanship. CoO sabotager fucks with what's aiding the other person in swordsmanship. So it's definitely part of swordsmanship just like CoO or FS would be.
Idk how CoC zoom call functions. Sounds kind of passive and irrelevant to combat, though?
Again, if Shanks trump cards...
