Finished Last of Us, good adaptation in the end but, maybe it´s subjective, it felt like they were going through a checklist of scenes, dialogue and so forth they had to include, did not really feel entirely natural.

I think depends on how much show original stuff there will be. You cant stretch out a game that takes 6 hours to play through to 10 hours of television if you do not add a lot of stuff. Just from the game, they are pretty far along.

If they follow the games then yeah, there is a core plotline that has one of the best endings in any medium, at least from what I have seen, but it´s always a big if, meaning if they follow the games. I have already read that there will be major deviations and a lot of show original stuff which...

I would go in with your experience as expectation. One good episode does not mean much. The show does not have to be faithful 100%, video games and a tv show are two different mediums after all, but the essence should be the same, we will see.
