It's hard to envision Zoro cutting Kaido in half when Oden only managed to cut and scar. And Oden is being wanked as Yonko level.
But Oda may surprise us.
It depends some fans think he will kill Kaido but that's very unlikely and a big stretch but objectively Zoro slicing up Kaido has a good probability right now.

I was thinking Zoro might have to slash Dragon Kaido mid-air similar to vs Pica. Obviously Zoro can't fly, so by executing the attack, he'll probably land somewhere away from Kaido who then fights wounded in human form vs Luffy. Then we have the typical 1v1 for Luffy to claim his victory.
It's 'to cut down' and 'to slay' both are synonymous and in the context of using a blade mean the same thing essentially, remember 'to cut down' is different to 'to cut'
Oda is not setting up Zoro to fight Kaido and then not do any damage. He is also the only one out of the 4 who is a traditional swordsman type that can replicate the feats and induce the parallels with both Oden and Ryuuma vs dragon.
So in this chapter we get Zoro's proclamation that he wants to cut down Kaido. I think by now most have accepted he will now play a part in fighting Kaido.
But how much of a role do you think he'll play? Second only to Luffy? Or behind Kidd and Law? Will he achieve any feats vs Kaido?
