The Numbers aren't actual fodder. You need a really high powered attack to take them down. Franky had to go all out with his nuclear attack to do so and even then it was on a smaller one.

I just realised Zoro did the same thing he did in the Stampede movie, cut something up (iron club) but as a result the debris is heading towards the fodder requiring Mihawk and in this chapter Jinbei to protect them. Lol
