Was that really such bad? I hear lot of people hating the live action of Cowboy Bebop. Was it like Netflix Death note lvl? Or even worse, Dragonball evolution?

Ah that guy? Loved his performance and the live action movies from Rurouni Kenshin where pretty good and his also play his role good.

Characters are important too thought, if they can't play the role as what we know from the strawhats, they get massively hated for it. Writing case they just need to follow the manga, if they try to do their own script, they probably going to fall Apart very fast.

Hope they get a big L. I doubt Oda agree with such a idea changing his characters. It is the usually Usa live action shit where they need to change everything, Death not live action as example. Hope this shit get a big L, another waste of money.

Probably the same reason why Lewis Tan is not Zoro, both where too "old" for playing Nami and Zoro, they probably planning 10years ahead into the future and emily rudd would be 38years old in that case. They take young actors knowing One piece take much time and not just end easily in 2-3years...

The problem with I see about the Live action, it could only work for a short season. As example one piece is still continue and I doubt it gonna end in the next 3-4years. Add the fact that I doubt that the lice action movie get ever year a new season. And they probably only do the east blue saga...

Feel the same, a good live Adaption would bring more hype for One piece. But the last live action of Netflix wasn't good either(Teen Titans or Death note). Overall im scared how this gonna be in the end...
