Dude huh? Wano started in chapter 909. That is almost 90 chapters. That is plenty of time. Wano is only half way finished.

Archipelago, Amazon Lilly, impel down, marine ford, and Luffy/ace flashback combined took less time than wano. Wano has been going on for over 2 years and a half now. The pacing in one piece keeps getting worse and worse where Oda continues to devote a large chunk of his time in trivial events...

So basically nothing progressed in this chapter other than Kaido finally taking the scabbards seriously by reverting back to his human form. The whole fodder fights that Luffy has been stuck in the past five chapters has been pointless. Why even waste time drawing it? The whole demon drug thingy...
