Kidd a battle genius :steef: Tanking a direct hit, just to get a chance of throwing BM away. Kidd will take over next time Luffy runs out of haki, as Zoro is already injured so he cant handle Kaido alone, but still he will play a big role. However, it's Kidd's time to shine :kata:

As long as there are fight scenes in One Piece, Zoro will always shine. We can say this just based on his portrayal so far.

I was talking about this chapter only. His caging the Zeus move was "genius", at least for me. It was the best option.

While I agree it is not, but considering all other options, they decided to go with this, and if you think about it, they are facing two yonkos they know what risks to take and what to avoid. Luffy can counter Zeus, they cannot do it. So, it was indeed smart of them to lock him up.

Kidd can be a battle genius like Luffy, and dumb in other scenarios. See, how he locked Zeus on metal box. :kayneshrug:
