Luffy talks about Kaidou though, not Zoro. Kaidou just said Zoro is a CoC user and no wonder Zoro can scar him (give damage), nothing about CoC coating:lusalty:

Imo he wont get it since its Luffy's specialty (next lvl CoC) but he will get Black Blades which is his specialty (next lvl CoA)

Even though its not advanced CoC, Zoro displayed base CoC though, Kaidou recognize it. Its the start of Zoro having CoC, just like Luffy start having CoC in Impel down. It's just that Zoro bloomed his CoC while attacking with Asura.
