Akainu's recent statement about driving all his enemies back into the sea reminded me of Kaido declaring he wants to start the greatest war when he got introduced. Oda made it clear, the Fleetadmiral is next. Marineford 2.0 is coming. Sabo is free, so they will find another reason. Don't know what it will be yet, perhaps something related to Vivi or Hancock. Blackbeard will have to wait.

Oda literally said in SBS he will make the greatest battle after Wano, obviously everyone needs to involve in it and obviously Larines will lose. This is known.
He created the Cross Guild as Anti-Marines to prepare the war between Pirates and Marines.
Government won't be the final villain, one of the Yonko will because A) he said One Piece story is based on fighting Yonko B) series will end with finding One Piece.
So its either Shanks or Blackbeard.

These have nothing to do with defeating yonko but come after it.
Personally I'd very much like it if Blackbeard wins the first round, meaning overlook becoming the pirate king and go deeper like Xebec did. With ancient weapons he'll be able to do that.
