Jew D. Boy

I Can Go Lower
Oda could simply make shorter arcs cut out a lot of useless fillers stop introducing billion characters in each arc :milaugh:
No argument here, but knowing that he has these tendencies (and that the endless parade of editors have never done their actual job and told him to reign it in), he should have people around who can pick up his increasing slack so the millions of dopes who still bother reading this garbage (i.e. every single motherfucker here and on Reddit) can enjoy some semblance of a cohesive story before it ends :kayneshrug:

Anime's pacing is more a problem of Oda breaks than Toei's production.
It's between this or a whole filler arc.
Not really. Oda max can do 48 chapters a year. They produce about 48 episodes a year too. A standard anime has the pacing of 2 chapters per episode. So oda would have to do more than 48 chapters for good pacing.

The problem is weekly episodes system. It needs to completely die out. OP is one of the last anime's like this. And it makes them enough money so they won't stop anytime soon.

Yeah, you're right, but weekly system won't change for OP and it's already dying in the industry(we just have a few series with this model of production).
About the 2 chapters pacing, it honestly depends on how much dialogue these series have. Of course during fighting arcs like Onigashima the manga pages will be filled with only action scenes however in more storydriven arcs just 1.5 chapter should be enough.
