He has appeared across many incarnations throughout the series, usually depicted as an ordinary boy or young man who becomes a legendary hero by saving the world through feats of courage.

MASTERCHIEF From HALO
Sierra 117, John, the Master Chief. He is a man of many names and many talents, having saved the galaxy from mass extinction a handful of times. Since his original release in Halo to Halo Infinite, Master Chief has developed as a character, giving more weight to his actions and the bond he shares with Cortana. He is a super soldier, but also a feeling human, showcasing this through 343 Industries run with him in Halo 4 and 5.
While his humanity allows us to connect with John to a greater degree, it is his alien butt-kicking ability that puts him on the radar. From the moment he first awoke from cryo-sleep to the moment he gave the Covenant back their bomb and beyond, Master Chief has been taking the fight to whatever threat makes itself known. The Flood, Covenant, and fellow Spartans never stood a chance.

STRANGER From STRANGER'S WRATH

Stranger is from the video game Stranger's Wrath. He is the main character and is of an endangered species in the game which is a Steef. Stranger is a bounty hunter who spends his time taking down outlaws that are causing trouble. He isn't doing this because he is noble but because he wishes to save up enough money for an operation. The purpose of this operation is to hide the fact that stranger is a steef by removing his two back legs.
I think this character is amazing because Stranger shows great respect to people of other races. He is also ruthless and coldblooded when dealing with outlaws which makes him an effective bounty hunter. The character is both agile and strong. Stranger does not waste time and is very intelligent. He slowly changes by the end of the game and he grew to love himself. Once stranger actually got assistance from the Grubbs ( a race in the game he initially hated) he fought for them and protected them, no longer having to hide the fact that he is a Steef as he is accepted in this nation for who he is.
