Here's a translation of Minamoto's original post for you. I have no idea why I am doing this, but I am generally confident that I have been faithful to his intended message.

So, after researching One Piece mysteries (with particular reference to One Piece itself, void century, etc.) I realized something very disappointing - that Oda writes / creates One Piece mysteries only with his Japanese readers/fanbase in mind.
The phenomenon that I seem to be noticing is that many mysteries in the One Piece World can be solved through explicitly through Japanese word plays and Japanese numerology ..... basically, if you understand the Japanese language and numbering system well, you will be able to pick up hints as to the nature of One Piece that readers and fans with other native languages are very likely to miss.
The end effect of this is that Japanese readers have a massive advantage in deciphering the mystery of the One Piece, but English readers and all the other native language groups are not respected by Oda in his creative writing process... Oda is not thinking about the non-Japanese crowd as he arranges his story.
To be honest, I strongly dislike this way of writing but I will wait a bit before I make my final decision about Oda's writing method (posting harsher criticism or quitting One Piece) ... but the future of One Piece is not looking good for me since it seems the writing trend continues and is yet unbroken. Wordplays and numerology games that are only solvable by one chosen and lucky language group... those kind of things are beneath me, and as someone who takes the time to research more important Japanese trends such as mythology and religious iconography history, etc, I find these childish and corny writing gimmicks very offensive since Oda could have written with something better for One Piece theorists of other languages to work with - after all, he makes a lot of money from them!
25 years of Oda playing these childish games with his readers. It's wasting our time.
It is simply not worth it for the readers of the One Piece translations.
