Everyone was clowning on Lord Kuri for living in his mother's basement for 40 years (he definitely had children and family to raise tho) but Shanks just wanted to fk around with Buggy on the seas for life and do nothing of importance



-gave up his captain's hopes for him, put it all on the next gen before he peaked his prime

-went to Mary geoise land of gods then left for the lower world

-maintained balance for years as a yonko without any real ambition or clear goal

-left Makino and his kid to buy cigarettes for Beckmann so family is out of question

-Even Shamrock seems to have more ambition than Shanks does

This just proves that CoC is a ponzi scheme (ambition / personality doesn't matter) and it's all about genetics. Those Garling genes do be damn strong

To me ambition is unimportant but it’s a combination of genetics/luck and willpower

People say it’s dependent on your dream/ambition but we’ve known that’s bullshit for years

Ace’s true dream was to find out whether he deserved to be born or not

I think willpower is pretty much the only relevant factor when it comes to their “personality”

Because all of the other criteria people come up with has been disproven numerous times

A lot of CoC gatekeepers for years been screaming how “Sanji ambition is being in the kitchen” “Akainu the desk puppy can’t defy his masters” “Neckbeard is just a sloppy coward who runs and begs for his life”

BB is definitely more ambitious, charismatic, unique than Shanks and personally needs a restraining order against this conqueror’s stalking

CoC bargain sale incoming. It’s not special and soon ACoC won’t be special either considering it’s the main weakness of several endgame opponents

Yeah this idea that you need a larger than life goal to have CoC is nonsense. Chinjao literally wanted nothing but to keep the wealth his family had hoarded over generations

And I said before if Oda makes ACoC the counter to Holy Knight regeneration we’ll quadruple the number of current users easily

I say we end the series off with at least 20-25+ characters that can use it

Thats what the "ambition" guys don't understand. Is there anyone other than Luffy, Zoro and Roger among CoC users who have stated their dreams/ambitions loud and clear as they actually mattered something?

This is much more about the character's mindset overall, not necessarily about how big his ambition is or to how often he brings it into conversations. And besides, eventually, they will have to come into terms to their natural conqueror personalities and with how far they wanna really wanna go in life

It's stated CoC users can't train their CoC to get stronger like CoA or CoO. And to think Shanks CoC is so strong and he just wanted to be a care free pirate hanging out with Buggy lol

And i don't know about the genetic thing... Big Mom only had Katakuri with CoC among many other children

Doflamingo's parents? Zoro's parents? I dont think so, but he looks like Ryuma, but still, he's a distant relative, Zoro isn't like Ryuma's son or cousin

Is it stated somewhere that CoC is hereditary?

Lord Pero Lord Cracker and Wueen Smoothie all def have CoC too, Oda just hasn’t revealed it yet

It’s not stated but it’s p much guaranteed. Doffy is a CD and descendant of “gods” so he automatically qualifies for the lottery

Zoro is also a distant relative of Ryuma and the grand nephew of a daimyo of Wano

Ace is Roger’s son obv. Monkey family are D clan members. Kaido is an oni, Yamato is Kaido daughter. Newgate prob had some special lineage too

Ironically the only verified “human” with no real connection to royalty was Linlin lmfao. But even then she was a natural born destroyer so she also won the genetic lottery

Yes, Pudding said her elder siblings already have children of their own

BMP value blood relations and form political marriages, they need more capable fighters, and most of all… they believe in the science of things (Caesar, Germa)

In fact it would be weird if he DIDNT have kids. BMP won the genetic lottery with Kat. FS, awakening, CoC. If I were BM I’d give Kata a fucking harem to make as many babies as possible

It would heal the series for CoC to be handed out here and there and for Oda to remove the genetic aspect of it

CoC is just glorified CoA in the end. Even DF negation was done by Law an non CoC user (CoC confirmation pending)

Without ACoC haki users can’t match up to superior DF users. Awakening users then surpass ACoC users and the bar must be raised again
