The way Asa held up Denji's head in the third page looks both like her pulling a cord on the back of his head (he might get one at some point) or someone trying to assist someone to barf.
The whole deal I think is that he is constantly working within this experience of being this fucked up young guy with no future, and what he has to do is try to expand his world beyond that with friends/whatever. Love is like an anchor to his existence, keeping him in reality. Non-reality (or him being lonely) is the state of him being Chainsaw man. There's probably some philosophical pin to this as well.
Another thing is that he keeps going only because of these momentary pleasures. I'm unsure whether Fujimoto genuinely wanted us to think this is how we SHOULD live life, but if not, then it's probably hinting that Denji will understand this & fix himself.
The fact that Denji as a character recognizes his flaws & has the capacity to fix them says a lot anyways, I think CSM will end on a good note.
