Kisame when he got clapped by Gai on turtle island. There was just a massive lack of respect for Kisame, his presence was being treated as comedy relief, and that's when I felt the shift in tone.
Deidara and Sasori getting blitzed by Sai in the war arc confirmed it.
The top 3 Espada in Bleach, after Ulquiorra and Grimmjow's display of strength, was one of the most disappointing things I've ever seen.
Nothing was worse than Littefinger's death, the man carried the show from start to finish and they simply off'ed him in the most cringe way possible. The entire show went downhill and was tainted with all kinds of political agendas.

Yep, GOT downfall began with season 5 really, but most did not want to hear it back then since the hype was still so strong from the earlier seasons. But it was still ok, albeit nowhere near the first seasons.
And one could argue that Martin´s departure creatively starting with season 5 had a lot to do with it, coupled with lack of respect of the show runners for the source material.

And if you look at it, there are signs in the earlier seasons that are not reassuring and that foreshadow the turn for the worse that the series will take on Martin isn't here.
For example the Qarth storyline in the second season, Edmure being turned into a total dumbass that no one respect and ignoring Edmure's more admirable traits and badass moments in the novels, Talisa character and Robb marrying her out of love instead of the circumstances in the novels, but perhaps the worst is the omission of Tysha's reveal by Jaime when he releases Tyrion which is one of the most important moments in the story and truly makes Tyrion kill his father and change into a darker character.
Not only that but it's partially a cause for the butchering of Jaime's character, as it causes an enraged Tyrion to tell him about Cersei having fucked Lancel and the Kettleback brothers (and perhaps Moonboy) which causes Jaime to distance himself himself from Cersei and begin to see her for what she truly is.

Bleach.
I know every MC is somehow chosen one. But this mf is chosen one among the chosen ones and personally touched by god's to beat the crap out of anyone who's been honing and training his whole life , to get a random mf trained 48 hours and best him.

Varys´ death was arguably even worse.[/QUOTE
I can live with most of game of thrones bullshit up to season 7, I didn't even mind the girl power shit at first but game of thrones was ruined the moment they put in the fake tension of Jon being the rightful heir. He and Danny were allready in love and it makes since for them to get married and he would be obviously the king. I mean she was dumb enough to risk her children's life for jon but was upset because it jon would be king. That's all liberal HBO woman empowerment bullshit! Jon being king solved everybody's problems including the lanisters because he probably would have let them reside in casterly rock. I didn't even mind Arya killing the night king. Jon even fucked his cousin your telling me they couldn't negotiate a political marriage where they didn't fuck like rabbits to save the seven kingdoms. As far as bran goes he should have died from the fall and the story wouldn't change much and we'd still have hold da door. Danny being crazy is dumb af but I won't blame dumb and dumber as the author probably is going to do the same thing.

I mean gai is that Guy though. I think kisame went out like A G. He almost clapped killerbee who was like one of the strongest alive if not the strongest at the time. Survived the raikage and almost came back to complete his mission. Losing samahade to KB was kinda a dick move but all said and done he did his job as a ninja splendidly.

More girl power shit. I mean little finger carried the north. It didn't even make sense to kill him. He saved John and rescued Sansa. He also rid the north of that crazy red head bitch. Out of nowhere they use bran to confirm he betrayed Ned. But varys death is by far the worse in the series. Though that look he gave thyrion when he touched him was meant for the writers and all the fans know that.
People complain about jamie's story arc but it made complete sense to me. People dont change. He was the dumbest Lanister and madly in love with himself and his sister. He had no reason to switch sides other than to live a life where he failed his family in everyday possible.
