Hey, with the red line being called the serpent soaked in blood, with Imu possibly being the devil, and with all the Bible parallels, if those parallels are true, one of the forms the devil shows up as in the Bible is a red dragon, and he is also called "that old serpent", if that's who Imu is, could the red line be his tail?

Edit: Plus you know the saints overcoming the devil by the blood of the Lamb is a thing mentioned in the Bible too, maybe that's why it's called the serpent soaked in blood

.

Revelation 12:3

"3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads."

.

Revelation 12:9-11

"9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

I guess I'm going with "maybe"? Imu could give us the greatest twerking the world has ever seen.

We've never actually seen Imu's legs. I guess they could just be slithering around. And it would be a good Jormungandr reference.

But, the biggest problem with the idea is that Imu spends most of their time inside a building. A building with a floor. Unless Imu can also phase through solid objects (which isn't impossible), then I don't know how their "tail" could connect to the rest of their body. Or unless the idea is that someone cut off Imu's tail and the Red Line is just the petrified remains of it.

Another problem is that the Lunarians were said to originally have lived on top of the Red Line. So, it'd be a little odd to do that, if the Red Line was Imu's tail. It could happen, but it'd be a weird choice to live on someone's tail? But, not that much weirder than living on top of Zunesha, I guess.

So, I'm personally leaning towards "no", but I could see Oda doing it, too. It's hard to say.

No

It's prolly the huge snake in the harley mural

Imu might awaken it against the shp alliance in the final war
Its hell serpent which is sleeping as of now. Imu will activate it at final war.
I don’t think there’s any giant sleeping serpent involved.
To me, it looks more like a natural phenomenon that ended up being mythologized. Something triggered by someone, whether intentionally or not.
Just like the sea-level rise in the second world: devastating natural events caused by humans, which ended up splitting the world.

Well imu is definitely the demon which we see on left hand side of the mural so the demon is real so I don't see why the hell serpent wont be. Though red line can be unrelated to hell serpent.

You know the person Dracula was based on was supposedly a christian ruler
Yeah but if we go by the fantasy lore and design, you can tell he is one. The name, looks, lives in Transylvania inspired castle and relaxes without hat in the dark. Also, speculated to took immortality like Dracula after he told Zoro he will await at his strongest form. How dod that work for all the other oldies?
