Character Discussion Do you want to see Scopper Gaban return?

I want to know the origins of this theory about Gaban being introduced as a very influential figure in the story. After Rayleigh it makes no sense for Gaban to be introduced in a story defining way at a later stage. You can have a rival of Roger be a part of it but Gaban makes no sense.
We got Tom first in W7 and then Rayleigh in SA. And then we got Oden not to mention that Shanks been in since Chap 1.

I like old timers. Kureha, Gan Fall, Woop Slap, Hyogoro. They are able to put things in perspective and draw in verse parallells between characters. A bit disappointed by Chinjao and Neptune, too little lore.
Iโd rather see Shiki in an old state than Gaban but Iโll take who we get. If we get Shiki it would be interesting if his โ20 year planโ comes in to play somehow. He might not be stronger than Kaido but with 20 years of preparation and his terrain he might well be stronger under specific circumstances providing a perfect antagonist.
