Do any of you think Oda could develop Bege’s crew possibly inspired by the famous Ghibli movie “Howl’s moving Castle”?
Oda never outright rips off things, but I wouldn’t put it past him to possibly make a story decision as a sort of homage to this famous Japanese movie.
Like given Bege’s former ties to the BMP, what if he bought/stole Prometheus from the BMP? Howl’s castle was powered by a living flame.
Another cool idea, what if Bege formed an alliance with Hawkins, a scarecrow, and Bonney, a girl who can become a grandma?
Overall, I feel like Bege is one of the strongest of the worstgen captains. I believe Ace stated that the strongest rookies are: Kid, Law, Bege, and Cavendish.
