A push to allow for open carry to be legal without any guarantees to the government (in the form of approved permits or training) is being proposed.

Permitless carry legislation appears poised to pass in Florida next year, erasing a state law that has been in place for more than 30 years. Gov. Ron DeSantis is backing the idea, and House Speaker Paul Renner is promising to act.

Well, instead of a mass shooting killing 10 people, guess it's fine to have 2 mass shootings killing 5 each and call it a success, while also creating a culture of fear and itchy trigger fingers.

I do wonder what the people that are gonna be mistakenly killed would think of that?
Oh wait, they won't think anything.
