As we all know in the god valley incident which happened 38 years ago the rocks pirates were said to be 'perished' after their fight with roger and garp. I will explain to you why I find this to be the most interesting incident in the entire story.
-Rocks is said to have often attacked the celestial dragons, this is not that surprising as everyone despises celestial dragons but the interesting thing about this is that why were the celestial dragons even present at god valley? All the celestial dragons moved to marie jois after the wg was formed so what were the celestial dragons doing at god valley?
-Garp fighting to defend the celestial dragons- Garp despises the celestial dragons but at god valley he defended them from the rocks pirates. He could just be doing his duty as a marine but I think there could be more to this, the vivre card for dragon states that he holds a big secret that even if the revolutionary army found out about it they would still follow him.
This statement suggests that this secret might be conflicting to the rev army, so maybe dragon is a celestial dragon and garp fought at god valley to save his child.
- 2 D clan members fought another D clan member while defending the celestial dragons-D clan members are the natural enemies of the celestial dragons but this time 2 D members of the D clan defended the celestial dragons against another D clan member which is quite interesting.
- The marines paint rocks as an evil pirate that terrorized the celestial dragons-The only source of information we have about this incident is from the marines. Marines have always manipulated the information to fit their propaganda, so the way in which rocks is being portrayed by the marines is questionable as if he really was a cruel pirate that wanted to be the king of the world then its surprising that someone like whitebeard would follow someone like this. So its possible that the marines are lying about rocks's true nature.
-Teach's ties to rocks- The name of teach's ship is saber of xebec and the island where teach is presently living was where the rock's crew was formed. Teach definitely has ties to rocks in some way, he is either rocks's child or he is just inspired by him
-Garp and roger alone defeating the rocks pirates makes very little sense-
In the panel we were shown its only roger and garp against the rocks crew, Roger and garp are strong no doubt but only 2 of them being able to defeat a crew like rocks doesn't add up cause it would be too much for them to handle. Now its definitely possible that roger's crew was present at god valley or Whitebeard switched sides and fought along side roger and garp. Maybe the marines are right about rocks being a very cruel pirate, so its possible that Whitebeard realised that his captain's dream can cause chaos in the world and decided to switch sides.
-The name of the island itself- The name of the island it called as god valley which is very interesting as it may hold secrets to the ancient gods like the sun god nika and maybe some other races like the lunarians which are different from humans and maybe they were given the name of gods due to their strength and appearance.
-shanks as a baby was found in god valley- In film red it was revealed that shanks as a baby was found by roger in god valley. Which raises even more questions when you consider the fact that shanks is able to speak directly to the gorosei and by the dialogue it seems like this isn't the first time they are meeting.
In conclusion the god valley incident is connected to the pirate king roger , rocks, teach, shanks, the ancient gods, gorosei, kaido and big mom to a lesser extent and maybe some more secrets like an ancient weapon might also be involved.
For all the reasons mentioned above I personally find the god valley incident to be the most interesting incident in the entire story even more than the one piece treasure itself.
