Speculations God Valley Incident Was Covered Up Because Imu Was There And Used Domi Reversi on Rocks Pirates

Gaban’s reaction shows that he’s familiar with that Haki and there can be only one explanation for how that happened; the God Valley incident.

Rocks members being crawled out of their grave in Thriller Bark could be foreshadowing that they got Domi Reversi’ed in God Valley. Imu showed up from one of the God Knight’s body and went after Xebec because he was the real threat to WG at that time and was also D member.

Big Mom, Kaido and Whitebeard weren’t intend to flee until that happened and were likely in shock not knowing what was happening to their own crew.

That explains why Garb was ordered to keep his lips sealed and WG came up with a fabricated story about Xebec destroying the Island when in reality, he just wanted his treasure back.

There was no malice or hatred between Roger and Rocks/WB Pirates the same way there was none between Buggy Pirates, Cross Guild and Straw Hat and were only rivals in friend sense.

So, this led me to believe Xebec begged Roger to take the treasure with him to look after as he brings Imu possesed God Knight down using the Yami Yami no Mi alongside with himself and the rest of the possessed crew causing the whole Island to disappear. Decades later, Thatch found the devil fruit in the sea.

Imu triggered PTSD after Blackbeard used the Yami Yami no Mi in the summit war then this happened in the Reverie. The Gorosei didn’t bat an eye and allowed him in the warlord system before.

Thoughts?

I like the idea, but we know Captain John didn't die this way. It was said in Chapter 957 by Sengoku that John, Silver Axe, and obviously Ochoku (Wang Zhi) went on to form their own crews or make a name for themselves in some way. Meaning, they outlived the God Valley incident.

From SBS Vol. 49, Oda answered that Captain John died from mutiny by his crew, who slashed at him for keeping his treasure secret from them.

So, it doesn't seem like those particular Thriller Bark zombies connect to the Rocks Pirates in the way you speculate. But the idea overall is plausible.
