Who is the greatest heavyweight boxer right now?

Tyson Fury - Lineal, WBA, WBO, IBF (2016), Lineal, WBC Heavyweight Champion (2020-21)

Anthony Joshua - WBA, WBO, IBF Heavyweight Champion (2016-19), (2019-21)

Oleksandr Usyk - WBA, WBO, IBF Heavyweight Champion (2021)

Joshua may lose WBO, IBF belts

Pulev already lost his title chance to Klitschko in 2014 before, he should wait until Joshua fights with Usyk (who never get any chance to take a heavyweight belt before) for WBO title defense, then Joshua will fight with Wilder vs. Fury winner for all belts.

Though I also understand why Pulev needs to hurry for IBF belt, he is 38 years old, he has only one chance at this point. He can't wait another year.

While Usyk is 32 years old and never lost a fight in cruiserweight, now he got a title chance at heavyweight after beating Bellew and Witherspoon.

None on this list can truly beat Braun Strowman in a real wrestling match
Ahem. Tyson Fury beat Braun by countout in a real wrestling match!

Aside from that, Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight right now 'cause he's the lineal champ but if he doesn't avoid another Wilder knockout punch, he could easily lose that title regardless if he's a better boxer. Wilder's KO power is the equalizer.

It will be a trilogy between Wilder vs. Fury first, then Joshua vs. Fury

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/...gy-clash-coronavirus-pandemic-anthony-joshua/

Fury is slated to fight Wilder for the third time next after the Bronze Bomber took up his rematch clause.

Fury vs Wilder 3 was originally expected to be held at the MGM Grand on July 18 but this was not possible.

A revised date of October 3 also had to be scrapped with the fight now being pencilled in for December 19 – but this date remains up in the air too.

Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum has said the coronavirus restrictions may yet see it end up happening in February 2021.

Arum said: “We don’t know now whether even in December we can do a fight for a limited audience.
“And we can’t put that fight in the bubble and survive because the gate on the last fight in February at the MGM was $17million.

“Now that’s a big part of the revenue, and if you lose that revenue plus another $2million or $3million from closed circuit, then that’s $20million.

“How do you replace it? How do you pay the fighters?

“So if we can get going with limited audiences, we’ll go on December 19. If not, we’re talking to another location outside of the United States about doing that fight first week of February [2021].”

It has been confirmed that Fury will face Joshua in two all-British blockbuster bouts in 2021, providing they can go ahead of course.

Fury would first face his trilogy clash with Wilder while Joshua will have to see off Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev, which is being planned for later this year.

It is understood that the two camps have been in talks over an undisputed title bout since early May.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said: “It’s fair to say [Joshua and Fury] are in agreement regarding the financial terms.

Fury is the biggest "FUCK YOU" to "Super training programs".

Dude looks like my neighbour after work and fucked up "THE BOMBER".

American Boxers are a fucking joke.

Joshua vs Fury is what I'm looking for.

Fury doesn't have to fight Wilder again. Fury is out of his league.

First fight Fury dominated. Only got knocked down in later round.

Second fight Fury totally dominated and knocked down Wilder.
That's probably the biggest fight that Wilder can get after his career, he is 35 years old. He will look for the puncher's chance, and we all know Wilder is the best puncher when it comes to that. If he can get lucky, he can win. But it's still a low possibility.

The problem is their contract, whoever loses of the second fight, can force the other to the third match, so the third fight was inevitable, and possibly Wilder will retire afterwards.

What do you still think about a Joshua-Wilder fight? That was all the hype before Fury came back as the lineal champ. Shame for whatever reason that fight didn't happen when they were at their peak as #1 and #2.

Either way, I don't know if immediately fighting Fury again is the right move for Wilder. You would think he should have a couple of tune-up fights before regaining his confidence again to beat Fury. Fury is pretty much back to his best again after their 1st fight. He's the biggest and best pure boxer in the entire HW division.
