This is why Zoro can cut Kaido.

Zoro can't injures Kaidou by his other swords because It didn't have Oden's haki inside.
This is a problem when Oden's haki start to depletion. because Zoro use it too much.
And when Oden's haki deplete, Zoro got ragdolled and injured in the process by YC1. He is a weak by himself.

Oda himself confirmed that Zoro is using his own haki and not Oden's, not that it was hard to grasp anyway since when Oden died his arm was so normal so his haki was never stuck in Enma.

Oda didn't confirmed that It's has no Oden's haki inside.

Especially Kaidou confirms that it's have Oden presence inside.

Presence is different from haki in this case. The thing is that swords are living objects in the OP world so they can likely store feelings, memories etc. that would explain Oden's presence basically.

Oda is terrible at executing fights and powers, abilities and effects. Its literary been similar to Fairy Tail Friendship powerup bullshit.
This is Oda's writing style better get use to it. One Piece don't make sense, its inconsistent, and unreliable when it comes to powers, abilities, its effects and levels.

The scabbards and enma might not be using odens actual haki but are likely emitting his presence
With how much oden was highlighted when they cut him its likely something. Kinda like how linlin was left vulnerable when mother carmels photo kaido seems to have something simple with Oden's presence. If it was just barrier haki something most of the decent samurai in wano seem to have his confusion dont really make much sense. Especially with there being lots of people even outside of wano that know that technique.
Like kaido definitely reacted differently to luffy hurting him and them.

When it comes to scaring kaido it's probably not advanced coc again based on kaidos reaction to both luffy and zoro. Also just oden and zoro's attacks not being drawn the same way at all as every other tone we've seen advanced coc

Do you have any proof that Zoro got stronger by using Enma? I only see Enma as a nerf. He use more haki than neededs in simple attacks which makes him getting tired faster. At rooftop his first attack he had to drawback so much his power in order to sustain for a long battle that he made no effect on Kaido.

There is a reason for Zoro never face a Yonko while using Shusui and now that he finally fought Kaido he was wielding that nerf called Enma. And that reason is Luffy being the MC and we still have 5+ years of One Piece.

After being cut by Enma with a more powerful slash, Kaido remembers this feeling as being the same as being cut by Oden. So he makes the conclusion that it must be Oden's sword.
